Constantina Sotelo’s winery is located close to the Atlantic ocean, in Rias Baixas, the birthplace of Albarino. And yet, she chose to be out of the appellation to avoid the very restrictive rules (like adding artificial yeast, filtration or mandatory sulphur addition) and produce Albarino like she envisions it: pure and representative of the terroir, without any chemical manipulation.

Rosalia is made with 30 years old Albarino vines, trained in the traditional pergola method to protect the grapes from the cold wind and abundant rain of Rias Baixas. Rosalia is vinified in stainless steel and aged on the lees for about 10 months, resulting in a highly acidic, saline wine with aromas of grapefruit and peach.
